Welcome to Mellette County
The Mellette County Courthouse is located at 321 E 4th Street in White River, South Dakota. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We are closed for lunch from 12:00-1:00. This web site includes information about each department in the county and the services provided by each, as well as important information pertaining to the goings on in the courthouse.

The courthouse will be closed Monday January 20th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
The Register of Deeds office will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday January 21st and 22nd.
