Welcome to Mellette County
The Mellette County Courthouse is located at 321 E 4th Street in White River, South Dakota. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We are closed for lunch from 12:00-1:00. This web site includes information about each department in the county and the services provided by each, as well as important information pertaining to the goings on in the courthouse.
County News
The Register of Deeds office will be closing at 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 9th.
The courthouse will be closed Monday, October 13th in observance of the Native American Day holiday.
The Register of Deeds office will be closed Friday, October 10th through Tuesday, October 14th.
