Welcome to Mellette County
The Mellette County Courthouse is located at 321 E 4th Street in White River, South Dakota. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We are closed for lunch from 12:00-1:00. This web site includes information about each department in the county and the services provided by each, as well as important information pertaining to the goings on in the courthouse.
County News
The Treasurer’s office will be closed June 5th, 17th and 27th.
The Assessor’s office will be closed June 5th, 6th, and 20th.
The Assessor’s Office will be closed due to SDAAO Conference June 10th-13th.
The courthouse will be closed June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
The Auditor’s office will be closed June 20th and 25th.
