Welcome to Mellette County
The Mellette County Courthouse is located at 321 E 4th Street in White River, South Dakota. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We are closed for lunch from 12:00-1:00. This web site includes information about each department in the county and the services provided by each, as well as important information pertaining to the goings on in the courthouse.

The courthouse will be closed Monday thru Wednesday December 23rd, 24th, & 25th in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Mellette County is currently hiring for a highway superintendent, highway maintenance worker, and deputy sheriff.
